Let's get CREATive!! for Toddler & Preschoolers!
Fall Schedule: beginning August 31
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
10:30-11:30AM or 1:00-2:00PM
Want to inspire the littlest budding artist in your family? Bring your toddler or preschooler to CREATE on Mondays. Let's get CREATive is a fun, messy, hands-on (hour of crafting; activity time) where children and moms (or dads!) make art together. It's easy to drop in, hang out, and CREATE! Our cool, creative projects promote self-expression and imagination and build a love of art & learning in your toddlers and preschoolers. Members are $4 and non-Members are $5.
We would be happy to reserve a private Let's get CREATive! for your mom's group or play group. You select the date and time. We will have everything ready to go when you arrive all for $6 per child. Feel free to make a Field Trip of it and bring a sack lunch to eat before or after the craft time. Call to book your Private Let's get CREATive! Moms you can even have your very own Mom's Night Out at CREATE just ask us for details.
Art Journaling
EVERY Tuesday 7-8:30PM for Teens
Hey Teens...want to move beyond that diary you’ve been keeping since you were little? CREATE wants to introduce you to the world of Art Journals: an adventurous way of keeping your thoughts safe, expressing creativity, reflecting on life and learning about yourself. There are no rules, no judgements, only your feelings and imagination expressed in words and pictures. CREATE is so passionate about sharing Art Journaling with you, that your first class session is FREE! (Instruction and supplies only; does not include the cost of the journal itself) After that, the cost is a very reasonable $5.00 for each session which includes technique instruction and basic supplies. Once you begin your own art journal, we know you’ll be hooked!
Stitch Lab
EVERY Thursday 7-9PM
Ages 8+. $15 non members/$12 members
Tweens and teens will learn the basics of sewing from getting to know the sewing machine to easy beginning projects. Each week there will be a different project, but feel free to bring a different project and ask questions. Students need to bring their own sewing machine. Call ahead to reserve the store machine for a $5 rental fee.

$5 non members, $4 members + needles and yarn for project.
Want to learn how to knit? This is your time! Knitting is a great hobby you can take with you anywhere. Learn how to make cool phone cozies, scarves, hats, even sweaters!
Supplies for a new knitter: Size 8 or 9 needles (available for purchase at CREATE) worsted weight yarn such as Patons Classic Merino Wool, Lion Brand Vanna's Choice or Caron Simply Soft.
