SmARTy Pants- Art Classes with Miss Molly
Mondays 430-630pm, Starts August 30th
Cost: $30 per class, or 4 classes for $90
Ages 8+
Put on your smarty pants, it's time to get ARTSY! Studies have shown that students involved in the arts are more likely to perform well in school, so Miss Molly has created projects designed to exercise your child's imagination and creativity while learning and improving art skills. But don't be fooled, these classes are FUN! We will draw, paint, sculpt, and design, experiment, discover, and get messy!
Home School Art Class
Every Tuesday beginning Tues., August 31 from 9-10am
Create is now offering an art class for students who are home schooled. It will be based off the 7 Elements of Art and the 7 Principles of Art, along with teaching some basic techniques. We will focus on one element or principle per class and create a project that corresponds. Art is a way in which students can express themselves using a variety of mediums and in different ways. We should encourage students to recognize what is aestheticallypleasing, but also recognize how history and philosophy have shaped art. Elements of Art Line, Shape, Form, Color, Value, Space, and Texture Principles of Art Rhythm, Pattern, Movement, Contrast, Balance, Emphasis and Unity
Ages 5 & up Cost - $10 a day or $30 for the month (4 Classes) Cost covers all materials and instruction for the class.
Special Needs

Every child is an artist! This class will give your child the opportunity to learn and explore using art. There will be a variety of activities, easily adapted to meet the needs of your child. This class is a place to play and explore using our imagination.
Cost - $10 a day or $30 for the month (4 Classes) Cost covers all materials and instruction for the class.
Mixed Media Mayhem!
Every Saturday beginning Sat, Sept. 11 from 10AM-noon
This class will surely expand your child's view of art! They will explore different art materials and techniques every week giving them a new appreciation for their creative possibilities. This class will be taught on a rotation basis by each of the CREATE staff ensuring a variety of activities!

Zentangles
Every Wednesday beginning Wed., Sept. 6 from 4-5pm Ages 8-12
Zentangles are an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. It is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing. It increases focus and creativity. Join Robyn every Wednesday after school for this great new class!
Cost: $10/$9 members
