Three Day Weekend!!

The great thing about a 3 day weekend is that there is enough time to actually shut the brain down, sleep, see the family and re-activate the creative side of my brain. I actually finished reading "My Sister's Keeper" and 1/3 of the CREATive Entrepreneur.
I started reading this HUGE stack of idea books that seemed to somehow have jumped into my hand at the book store recently. I am thinking that a bit of experimenting with different things couldn't hurt me. You know the things that have jumped into my hand at certain craft stores that I have NO idea what to do with. Somehow all those cool things go together onto a canvas. Now I know I mentioned finding Catherine who not only knows what to do with these products but she makes them all look beautiful together. Catherine is going to offer a series of classes next month on collage and mixed media but it couldn't hurt me to get a start on mixing stuff up a bit, RIGHT? At least this is not science so nothing should explode...I think.
OMG!! I also discovered this AWESOME tutorial about how to do this collage picture thing. I am going to pick out my kids pictures to use next. It will be a GREAT gift for Father's day. I will practice today and let you know how it goes. Hopefully I can teach you how to do it tomorrow.
