Want to learn how to knit? This is your time! Knitting is a great hobby you can take with you anywhere. Learn how to make cool phone cozies, scarves, hats, even sweaters!
Supplies for a new knitter: Size 8 or 9 needles (available for purchase at CREATE) worsted weight yarn such as Patons Classic Merino Wool, Lion Brand Vanna's Choice or Caron Simply Soft.
Art Journaling
EVERY Thursday 7-9PM for Adults, $15 non members, $12 members
Simply stated, an art journal is an illustrated diary touching on any or many themes. And guess what? You don’t have to be an artist to create an art journal. Art journaling is more about the process than the end result. You can use anything in your art journal: sketches, photos, sewing, receipts, letters, book pages...the possibilities are limitless. Art journals are a wonderful tool to discover your inner voice and create a place just for you. $15 +1 time fee of journal.
Stitch Lab
EVERY Thursday 7-9PM

Have a sewing machine but don't know how to use it? We will learn basics of sewing from getting to know your machine to easy beginning projects. Each week there will be a different project, but feel free to bring a different project and ask questions. Students need to bring their own sewing machine. Call ahead to reserve the store machine for a $5 rental fee.
September Sew-along project will be the "Build Your Own Hobo Bag."
Create-A-Thon - 6 PM to midnight - Every Friday Night
Looking for some fun & creative plans for Friday nights? Join CREATE for a relaxing evening of craftiness! Whether you dabble in mixed media, scrap your family's memories or love to sew, CREATE is THE place to be every Friday from 6pm-midnight!
Cost $8 for members, $10 for non-members Ages 16+
Saturday evenings by appt with a minimum of 8 people or $120.
