Sill Level: Beginner
Take those old jeans & upcycle them into a new quilt! You will learn how to cut the jeans into squares and basic fabric layout techniques. You will also receive tips on how to best sew with demin. Final quilt size will be 60x60. Feel free to make the quilt larger or smaller depending on personal preferences.
Supplies:
- Sewing Machine w/ manual
- Matching Thread
- 10 pairs of large size jeans (you want to use non-stretch jeans!)
- 2 yards fleece (for backing)
- Rotary supplies (cutter, ruler & mat)
Cost: $20 non members, $18 members
